Edward Little had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-4 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 12-9 win over the Skowhegan River Hawks. The Red Eddies' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Skowhegan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3. Even though they lost, their still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

For Skowhegan's part, Jackson Hight was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double was Hight's first of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edward Little will take on Oxford Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last six games the Vikings have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Skowhegan, they will face off against Mt. Blue at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
