Snow Hill is 0-10 against Wicomico since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Snow Hill Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Wicomico Indians at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Snow Hill sitting on three straight wins and Wicomico on six.
Snow Hill can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Arcadia with a sharp 55-30 victory. Given Snow Hill's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 127th in Maryland, while Arcadia is ranked 363rd in Virginia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Wicomico didn't have too much trouble with North Caroline at home on Monday as they won 57-41.
Wicomico's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabrielle Corbin, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Corbin is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Se'Lah Foreman, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Snow Hill has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Wicomico, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home.
