Among those leading the charge was Jordan Famularo, who had 17 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracyn McRorie, who had nine digs and two assists.
Community School of Davidson's win bumped their record up to 26-5. As for Cherokee, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 27-9.
Looking ahead, Community School of Davidson will challenge Cornerstone Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
