The Presidio Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Kermit Yellow Jackets at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Presidio will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Presidio earned a 47-38 victory over the Buffaloes.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Kermit's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Alpine by a score of 67-65. The contest was a 32-32 toss-up at halftime, but Kermit couldn't quite close it out.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zeke Espino, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Saenz, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Presidio is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Kermit, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.
Presidio was able to grind out a solid win over the Yellow Jackets in their previous matchup back in January, winning 61-49. Does Presidio have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellow Jackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
