Founders Classical Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mary Tavarez, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. The match was Tavarez's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelis Russell, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
The victory got Founders Classical Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Valor North Austin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Founders Classical Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Andrew's at 12:00 p.m. on December 16th. St. Andrew's presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Founders Classical Academy in Texas (St. Andrew's is ranked 583rd, while Founders Classical Academy is ranked 1167th).
