  Alex Camarati was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Camarati was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Samantha Ezzie was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Maya Stavnicky, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Lake Catholic is still looking for their season's first win. They lost  18-4 to West Geauga on Monday.
 Padua Franciscan is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season. As for Lake Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
