Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scott's Branch). They enjoyed a cozy 62-43 win over the St. John's Islanders on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Nyren Bowman was the offensive standout of the matchup as he posted 14 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. JoJo Jackson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Scott's Branch's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for St. John's, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott's Branch will head out to take on Charleston Math & Science at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Charleston Math & Science is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.3 points per game this season. As for St. John's, they are taking a road trip to square off against Military Magnet Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
