The Yankton Bucks/Gazelles had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They breezed by Huron on the road to the tune of 56-21. The result was nothing new for Yankton, who have now won three games by 35 points or more so far this season.
Huron's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Thackary Hanson, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and Cashton Caudell who rushed for 98 yards on only 12 carries.
Yankton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points per game. As for Huron, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
