After flying high against the Ryan Cowboys on Thursday, the Comanche Indians came back down to earth. Comanche's rough 42-21 loss to Marlow on Thursday might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Comanche has scored all season.
Marlow's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Parker Boyles led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Boyles pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Holding, who scored ten points.
Comanche's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Marlow, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.
Comanche will head out on the road to face off against Washington at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marlow, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Velma-Alma. Velma-Alma has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 428 points over their last six matchups.
