Jason Guzman was a one-man wrecking crew for Norman Thomas as he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 steals. That's the first time this season that Guzman scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Chazulle, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Norman Thomas' win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Irving, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
