Southern suffered their biggest loss since December 2, 2023 last Tuesday. They suffered a tough 98-75 loss at the hands of Central. That's two games in a row now that Southern has lost by exactly 23 points.
Meanwhile, Beth Haven put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 90-57 win over Louisville Saints HomeSchool at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Beth Haven has posted since December 21, 2023.
Levi Langley was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Michael Ray Stinnett was another key contributor, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists.
Southern bumped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Beth Haven, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
