Altamont entered their tilt with Childersburg on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 13-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 on Wednesday.

Altamont pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Childersburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altamont will venture away from home to square off against Victory Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Childersburg, they will head out to challenge Westminster School at Oak Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
