The Paradise Honors Panthers won the last time they faced the Odyssey Institute Minotaur, and things went their way on Friday too. Paradise Honors breezed by Odyssey Institute on the road to the tune of 57-23. The result was nothing new for Paradise Honors, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Gage Baker had an outrageously good game as he threw for 430 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Baker is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last eight games he's played. Isaiah Thomas also helped out as he racked up 132 receiving yards.
Paradise Honors has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Odyssey Institute, their defeat on Friday dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Panthers will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Yuma at 7:00 p.m. on October 20th. They are out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Odyssey Institute, they will head out on the road to face off against River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. River Valley will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
