Football Recap: Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Piles Up the Points Against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They breezed by the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights to the tune of 34-0. The Pirate have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Knights , too.

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tehani Shigematsu led the charge by throwing for 267 yards and four touchdowns while completing 92.9% of her passes, and also rushing for 46 yards and one touchdown. What's more, Shigematsu also racked up 141.4 passer rating, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Manahere Peters was Shigematsu's top target, picking up 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
