There's no place like home for Heard County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Callaway Cavaliers on Saturday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Heard County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Callaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aidyn Alford-Bailey had ten digs and two assists.

Heard County's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Callaway, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Heard County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Valley on the 13th. As for Callaway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oak Mountain Academy on the 13th.
