The Center Point Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 85-36 loss at the hands of Johnson City. Center Point has not had much luck with Johnson City recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Johnson City's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kp Coble, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Coble has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aiden Fulton, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds.
Center Point bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Johnson City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
Center Point will head out on the road to face off against San Saba at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harper at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harper is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
