The Longwood Panthers's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Kennedy out 53-51.
Kennedy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joseph Dahl, who scored 17 points. Dahl scored a full 33.3% of Kennedy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Michael Gallas was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
The win got Longwood back to even at 2-2. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Longwood has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Catalyst-Maria at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th. Kennedy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hancock at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th. Hancock is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
