The Clear Falls Knights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past Clear Creek with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Clear Falls also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Clear Falls was led to victory by Landon Vessel and Dylan Proctor. Vessel rushed for 39 yards and two touchdowns, while Proctor gained 213 total yards and a touchdown. Proctor's longest reception was for an incredible 84 yards. Payton Greer and his 81 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Clear Falls' win.
Clear Falls' win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.3 points per game. As for Clear Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Clear Falls will square off against Strake Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Strake Jesuit will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 444th, while Clear Falls is ranked 122nd). As for Clear Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dawson will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
