The Martinsville Bluestreaks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Chrisman, posting a 79-52 victory on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Martinsville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Martinsville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Parcel led the charge by dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Parcel has scored all season. Kaiden Simons was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds.
Martinsville's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Chrisman, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Martinsville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brownstown/St. Elmo at 6:00 p.m. Brownstown/St. Elmo is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Cissna Park, Cissna Park and St. Thomas More will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
