Basketball Recap: Bishop's Comes Up Short

Bishop won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They came up short against the San Diego Cavers, falling 64-44. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Bishop's moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for San Diego, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Bishop's will venture away from home to face off against Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Diego, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. San Diego knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Wiseburn- Da Vinci likes a good challenge.
