The Tuscarora Titans lost to the North Hagerstown Hubs back in February of 2023, but the Tuscarora Titans didn't allow the North Hagerstown Hubs the same satisfaction on Friday. Tuscarora strolled past North Hagerstown with points to spare, taking the game 65-47.
Tuscarora got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Laney Barton out in front who scored 27 points along with seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Barton has scored at least a third of Tuscarora's points. Another player making a difference was Skylar Davis, who scored 12 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Tuscarora's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for North Hagerstown, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuscarora's road trip will continue as they head out to face Manchester Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Manchester Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for North Hagerstown, they will head out on the road to challenge Clear Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Clear Spring and three for North Hagerstown.
