The Montebello Oilers were the 65-55 winner over the Temple City Rams when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Montebello received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 55-36 to Temple City. Montebello has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Temple City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Kwan, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Hayden Hui was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Montebello's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Temple City, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Montebello will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South El Monte at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. Temple City will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Los Altos on December 12th.
