Daniel (Central, S.C.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used seven fourth quarter points to seal the 31-7 victory over
Clinton (S.C.).
After taking the lead on a field goal in the first quarter, the Lions were up 17-7 at the half.
Daniel grew its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
The loss snapped Clinton's five-game winning streak.
Clinton's only touchdown came on a 28-yard run by
Matthias Williams in the second quarter.
The Central school went into the matchup giving up only 9.3 points per game.
