Blake Vinson Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is El Dorado's Blake Vinson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vinson picked up 27 receiving yards and a touchdown.
El Dorado moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Vinson and El Dorado will challenge Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Troy Foster Turns in Season-Best Performance
Troy Foster produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Huntington Beach to the win on Friday. Foster's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 112 receiving yards dating back to last season. His longest reception was for an incredible 83 yards.
For the year, Foster has caught 12 touchdowns while averaging 134.5 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 48 receiving yards per game.

Brady Edmunds put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He threw for 414 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Huntington Beach's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 4-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
For the year, Edmunds has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 294.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 20.38 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 31.5 rushing yards.

La Habra picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kevika Martinez. Martinez turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making three total tackles (3.0 for loss).
La Habra's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Martinez and La Habra will square off against Laguna Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
