After a string of four wins, Chillicothe's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 44-32 to the Lafayette Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-40 back in February.

Despite the loss, Chillicothe still got an impressive performance from Lyla Beetsma, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Liz Oliver, who had eight points and eight boards.

Chillicothe's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Lafayette, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Chillicothe nor Lafayette have any future games scheduled.
