The Logan Longhorns will be playing at home against the Hozho Academy Wolves at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Logan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,130 points over their last 15 matches.
Last Saturday, Logan faced Melrose in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Logan was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Melrose. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Logan in their matchups with Melrose: they've now lost five in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Brock Burns, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Wallin, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-32, which was the final score in Hozho Academy's tilt against Pine Hill on Tuesday.
Logan's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-1. As for Hozho Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
