Basketball Recap: Epiphany's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak at Home

Epiphany won the last time they faced Gramercy Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Epiphany Falcons managed a 61-56 win over the Gramercy Christian Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Despite the loss, Gramercy Christian had strong showings from Malachi Tribble, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards, and Colin Vick, who went 7 of 12from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Vick a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego De Hoyos, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Epiphany's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Gramercy Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Epiphany will venture away from home to take on Liberty Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gramercy Christian, they will host Bethel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
