Box Elder has gone 6-1 against Mountain Crest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bees will head out on the road to square off against the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Mountain Crest will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Box Elder extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday. Everything went the Bees' way against Roy as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The Bees' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Maycie Moss looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Kailee Hall was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Izibel Mason, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Box Elder was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .586. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Mountain Crest came out on top against Weber on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 16-run third inning. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 22-3 margin over the Warriors. That 19-run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.
The team relied heavily on Sage Walker, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those RBI were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Allee Carlston, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one double.
Box Elder's record is now 6-0. As for Mountain Crest, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Box Elder's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Bees have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Mountain Crest, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Box Elder continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Box Elder's way against Mountain Crest in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Box Elder made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bees since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
