Chattooga can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They skirted past the North Murray Mountaineers 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Haley Maddux paced Chattooga's offense, picking up 15 kills. Maddux got some help from Madilyn Wheat and her 19 assists. Wheat also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Gracelyn Rutledge, each putting up three.

When it comes to explaining why North Murray lost, don't look at Ansleigh Chadwick. Despite the final result, she had four digs and three aces.

Chattooga's victory bumped their record up to 29-11. As for North Murray, their loss dropped their record down to 6-26.

North Murray didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Christian Heritage on the 25th. Hopefully Chattooga paid attention to the Mountaineers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
