Milton (Mass.) and never looked back on the way to a 31-20 victory on Saturday.
The Rockets put up seven points in the opening frame. Needham scored on a touchdown run.
NHS was up 14-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter.
The Rockets expanded their lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. Needham scored two times in the third, including once on a defensive touchdown.
Mike Panepinto stood out for NHS in the win. The junior running back ran for two touchdowns.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Rockets came away with a 49-14 victory.
The loss comes after Milton defeated Wellesley 34-28 last week.
Milton (1-5) will play a Bay State - Herget game against Framingham next week, while Needham (5-1) will take on Walpole in a Bay State - Carey game.
