Basketball Recap: Hilltop's Win Ends 16-Game Losing Streak at Home

Hilltop's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 65-18 win over the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions. With the Lancers ahead 45-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Hilltop's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Devin led the charge by going 8 for 12 on his way to 16 points. Those 16 points gave Devin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isma Hasani, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points.

Hilltop was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Hilltop's victory ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
