Zach Mastin of Harrison County ran for the longest rushing play in 4A District 7 this season against Bourbon County last week. Mastin ran for 71 yards on the play and finished with 116 on the day as his team lost to the Colonels.
Highlands extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Paducah Tilghman, 42-25. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Bluebirds.
Harrison County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Thorobreds feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Robbie Stroub has thrown for 868 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Jovon Williams has 16 catches for 254 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Highlands and Covington Catholic. Dale Mueller's team enters the game ranked third in the state, while the Colonels ranks seventh.
Harrison County fell to Bourbon County 64-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Mastin in the defeat.
