Forestburg posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Prairie Valley 50-22 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Forestburg has posted against Prairie Valley since January 24, 2017.
Forestburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brenna Briles, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 steals. Briles hasn't dropped below two steals for 15 straight games. Lili Cisneros was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Bellevue has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Forestburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Bellevue came up short against Forestburg when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 63-57. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Briles, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
