Wayne was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Butler 41-13. The Warriors came in at 20 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Beavercreek moved up to 198 from 257 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Greater Western Ohio - Central. A 44-16 win over Fairborn helped the Beavers improve their standing.
Beavercreek's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Beavers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Mike Berry has thrown for 35 yards and one touchdown this season, while Alex Arias has two catches for 18 yards. Travis McAfee leads the league in rushing with 222 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Centerville takes on Fairmont. The Elks' offense has recorded 108 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Firebirds have permitted only 200 on the year.
A big matchup in Greater Western Ohio - Central this week will be when Beavercreek takes on Northmont. At the moment, Scott Clodfelter's team is in fourth, while the Thunderbolts are in second.
Centerville took down Greenville 64-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
