The Wasatch Academy Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 58-8 loss at the hands of Intermountain Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wasatch Academy has scored all season.
Makenna Stoddard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Intermountain Christian, scoring 23 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stoddard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elaine Lunsford, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Wasatch Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Intermountain Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wasatch Academy will take on Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams is ranked 128th, while Wasatch Academy is ranked 134th). As for Intermountain Christian, they will be playing at home against Merit Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
