The Oak Creek Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 63-51 to Milwaukee Lutheran. Oak Creek was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Milwaukee Lutheran apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.
Milwaukee Lutheran was led to victory by Jelani Weathers and Isaiah Allen. Weathers scored six points along with ten rebounds and five blocks, while Allen dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Weathers also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasen Brown, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Oak Creek has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Creek will take on Kenosha Tremper at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenosha Tremper has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Greenfield at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Greenfield's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches.
