The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons lost against the Christian Life Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Parkview Christian Academy suffered a tough 60-37 loss at the hands of Christian Life. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parkview Christian Academy in their matchups with Christian Life: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the defeat, Parkview Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: James Jefferson scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Jefferson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played.
Parkview Christian Academy bumped their record down to 6-11 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Christian Life, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkview Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kankakee Trinity Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Kankakee Trinity Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 back in December of 2023. As for Christian Life, they will head out on the road to face off against Harvest Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
