Rachel Connors was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 On Highland's side,  Cambria Chacon spent all eight innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side, Highland got a  massive  performance out of  Alexis Eley, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Savanna Isaacson, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Perry now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Highland,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-4-2.
 Perry will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Pinnacle at 3:45  p.m. Pinnacle's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so Perry's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to  take on  Gilbert at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Highland is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
