The Temple Baptist Eagles waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Bethel Christian Academy by a score of 47-37. That's another feather in the cap for Temple Baptist, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bethel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Levi Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Callahan, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Even though they lost, Bethel Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. This was only their tenth loss (out of ten games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Temple Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Temple Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bethel Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the at 7:00 p.m.
