The Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins were the 56-48 winner over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Cape Henry Collegiate was dealt a 71-37 loss at the hands of Miller School of Albemarle on Saturday.
Miller School of Albemarle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jason Clarke led the charge by scoring 24 points along with 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Clarke has scored at least 25% of Miller School of Albemarle's points. Another player making a difference was Reece Hagy, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Cape Henry Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Miller School of Albemarle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

As for Miller School of Albemarle, they will head out on the road to face off against Stuart Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
