Sawyer DiMario was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Brody Allard made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That run was his first of the season.
