The Lab University Prep Lab Rats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Sunday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Wilson 62-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lab University Prep has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Lab University Prep had strong showings from Makayla Minshall, who scored ten points, and Faith Bekich, who scored eight points.
Wilson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Murray, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leanissa Swinton, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds and five steals.
Lab University Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
Lab University Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wilson will be playing at home against North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Myrtle Beach is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
