The win got Gates County back to even at 6-6. As for North East Carolina Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
North East Carolina Prep's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gates County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .524. It's a different story for North East Carolina Prep, though, as they've only averaged .269. Will they be able to contain Gates County's hitters?
