Libertyville barely beat Warren Township the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Monday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

Josh Holst made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Libertyville got a massive performance out of Quinn Schambow, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Schambow a new career-high. Ryan Wilberding was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Libertyville's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Warren Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-13.

Libertyville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
