Among those leading the charge was Dakota Becker, who scored 15 points along with 5 steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Jenna Valdez, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds.
Mount Calm's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Mount Calm will head out on the road to face off against Gholson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gholson will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Nazarene Christian Academy will take on Prestonwood Christian North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prestonwood Christian North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
