Meanwhile, Midlothian earned a 50-38 win over Seguin on Friday.
It was another big night for Alex Gilmore, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tevaughn Moore, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Cleburne has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. As for Midlothian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.
Cleburne came up short against Midlothian when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 56-43. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Gilmore, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds.
