The Plano Reapers waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Woodstock North with points to spare, taking the game 55-38.
Josie Larson was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The game was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sanai Young, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Plano is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Woodstock North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plano's road trip will continue as they head out to face Streator at 11:30 a.m. on December 2nd. Streator comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Woodstock North, they will head out on the road to face off against North Boone at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Boone is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
