It was another big night for Blair Thomas, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and six assists for St. Georges Tech. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Womack, who scored 21 points along with two steals.
Appoquinimink's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for St. Georges Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Appoquinimink will take on Middletown at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Georges Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Caravel at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. St. Georges Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Caravel likes a good challenge.
