Reagan is 3-0 against Ragsdale since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Reagan Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Ragsdale Tigers at 6:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, things could have been worse for Reagan, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-43 loss to Oak Grove.
Meanwhile, Ragsdale had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed by Walkertown on the road to the tune of 69-13. With Ragsdale ahead 50-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Ragsdale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Parker, who scored 32 points along with 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Ja?mya Boddie, who scored 17 points along with 9 assists and 3 steals.
Their wins bumped Reagan to 2-3 and Oak Grove to 3-0.
Reagan beat Ragsdale 52-41 in their previous matchup back in February of 2018. Will Reagan repeat their success, or does Ragsdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
