Lab University Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christian Aukuso, who scored 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aukuso has scored all season. DeMarco Reynolds was another key contributor, scoring 24 points.
Lab University Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 247-925-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lab University Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Moravian Prep on Wednesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on Oak Park Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Oak Park Christian's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Varsity Opponent has been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road.
